Jobs in Land Negotiation and Management are involved in acquiring the land surface and mineral rights needed by oil and gas companies. They may negotiate agreements and contracts regarding leasing or land purchase with stakeholders such as farmers, ranchers, Aboriginal groups and governments; obtain permits from various government agencies; and manage the agreements with these stakeholders. They also negotiate right-of-way access for pipeline construction and maintenance, and ensure appropriate reclamation.
