Working in Oil & Gas

Ontario

North America's oil and gas industry is rooted in southern Ontario, where oil was first commercially produced in 1858 in Oil Springs. While the oil and gas industry in Ontario is small compared to its counterpart in western Canada, it is, however, a viable, active and important industry to the province of Ontario. Currently there are over 2,500 producing wells in Ontario.
